Signs A La Carte printed and installed wall and windows graphics at Tilted Axes in West Chester.Signs A La Carte designed all the signs for our neighboring business, Tilted Axes of West Chester, an axe-throwing and BYOB food and drink venue. Patrons throw axes in a safe line for two hours while enjoying time with friends and getting a great workout. Each group has a coach who explains the rules and teaches you how to throw the axes. You can also play darts and tic-tac-toe, listen to music, and buy pizzas from a food truck. Owners Jason and Jake started from scratch with an empty building. With the help of friends and family, they built everything, from the tables to the soundproofing walls. When Jason came to Signs A La Carte in December, he immediately decided to work on his signs project with us. The venue was opening in two weeks, and he needed to be ready with signs advertising the new business. We started out doing one interior sign and window graphics. The logo was printed on vinyl, laminated, and applied to the wall of the entrance.
Behind the Tilted Axes customer service desk, the white wall was covered by a wall graphic with the logo. After working on his reception area, Jason noticed that his entertainment center needed some adjustments. Signs A La Carte created stickers for the pool table area that said, ‘No drinks and food on the pool table. The last big job was the storefront sign. At this point, Jason decided to create a franchise, which meant he needed to rethink his logo and add more colors. The outdoor sign was printed on vinyl applied on acrylic with an aluminum frame. His little touch adding black pieces in the corners looks even better. Then Jason came to us with a wonderful idea for decorating the bathroom doors. Like with the wall, we used overlaminate printed vinyl. To avoid being visible from outside, the plain doors became a nice plaid. If you get the chance, go throw axes and check out the beautiful signs. And if you like the work we did and want to invest in your signage, don’t hesitate to contact us. We’ll work with you to grow your business!
Signs A La Carte installed exterior signs and lobby signs at Brandywine Med Spa in Kenneth Square. One year ago, Dr. Tariq and Uzma Quraishi contacted Signs A La Carte for help rebranding signage for their new business facility. Dr. Uzma Quraishi has been providing general medical care and cosmetic treatments in the Kennett Square area since 2004. At Brandywine Med Spa, she offers the latest innovations in cosmetic medicine. Our part of the project included creating new exterior signs and a lobby sign. First, Dr. Quraishi wanted to change out the pylon in front of the building. Signs A La Carte refurbished the sign that had belonged to a previous restaurant. We kept the octagonal shape of the sign, cutting two new acrylic faces and applying a translucid black cut vinyl with the doctor’s name, phone number, and business name. This type of vinyl allows light to go through.
Now for the story of the two freezer doors outside the building. Initially the couple discussed a landscape. Our designer sent them a few proofs, but they were still undecided. One day, our designer found some photos and arranged them in a new proof. The proof was approved, but then winter arrived. If temperatures are below freezing, it’s impossible to install vinyl outdoors. We had to wait for the weather to get warmer. Finally, after a spring warm up, we were able to install the high-quality, laminated, large-format printing on the two freezer doors. The photos have a lasting impact on customers—when we talk about other businesses in the area, we mention these photos and automatically, people know where to go. Dr. Tariq and Uzma Quraishi were great to work with! Despite the weather challenges, they were very understanding. As we know, the weather isn’t the only challenge we sometimes face when installing signs, and we were just lucky we had such patient clients. The finished Brandywine Med Spa sign is classy and chic. If you want to rebrand your business and need a new interior or exterior sign, contact Signs A La Carte. We’d love to help!
Image is everything in business, a reflective adhesive vinyl on the car is a very good choice. At Signs A La Carte, our customers usually ask for a specific wrap on their vehicle to represent their company. We offer three different types of wraps: full wraps, half wraps, and decals and lettering. Full Vinyl Wraps A full wrap covers the entire vehicle, even the roof. The design typically represents large format graphics that sometimes include pictures. The way it’s assembled gives your vehicle a clean, professional look. Half Vinyl Wraps Half wraps are more economical choices for fleets since they use less material than full wraps. Big and bold graphics are generally only on the sides or back of a vehicle—two areas that will positively impact your business. Custom Decals and Lettering Custom decals and lettering are great options for companies that only want to include basic information on their vehicles, such as their name and/or logo. A website or phone number can also be added. By choosing the right font, you’ll make it easy for your potential customers to see your business’s information. Printing on Reflective Vinyl We typically print on a high-quality product from 3M or Avery, but recently, we did a wrap with a new product from 3M: a reflective vinyl that glows in the dark when charged by light and heat. The reflective adhesive vinyl is four millimeters thick and comes with clear permanent adhesive backing. Because it’s protected by a gloss laminate, it can be used indoors or outdoors, is waterproof and UV safe, and will last for years. We used the reflective adhesive to completely wrap a van for Adam’s Auto Parts. Adam came to Signs A La Carte to work on his business graphics with our designer. The design looked beautiful on the computer and even more amazing in person. Benefits of Reflective Vinyl Once the job was complete, we realized that reflective vinyl provides endless choices for wrapping various surfaces. Below we’ve included some of the types of reflective vinyl and the benefits of each.
Wrapping various surfaces with reflective adhesive vinyl provides a lightweight, economical alternative to paint for your fleet or architectural applications, indoors and out. Since reflective vinyl is waterproof, you can even wrap your boat.

Exterior signages for Kids' Clubhouse of the Mainline by Signs A La Carte- West Chester, PA-7/29/2019 Signs A La Carte installed an Awning and Window Graphics for Kids' Clubhouse of the Mainline. When Angela Bruno moved to Pennsylvania from California, she discovered that a drop-off daycare didn’t exist in the area. She set out to start her own daycare, and once she found a facility, she contacted Signs A La Carte to create her signage. But first she needed to get her sign installation approved with the building landlord and the township—when you open a business, it’s important to follow the rules in the area. Angela wanted to have window graphics and a lighted awning installed over the door. This would allow parents to stay sheltered from the elements when their children leave the daycare. The light is also important, especially during the winter months when it gets dark early, so parents and their children can feel safe. Signs A La Carte helped Angela get approvals from the township. To do this, we needed to have everything ready to submit for the project, including measurements, colors, and the exact location of the signage. After the township issued their approval and Angela signed off on the details of her custom signs, we started production. The biggest component was the awning. Creating an Awning On the awning fabric, we applied white-cut lettering that resists harsh weather. Angela wanted the awning to protect parents from the rain while they’re waiting to pick up their kids. Since Angela couldn’t put her business name on the building, she decided to place it on the awning instead. This helped her visually market her daycare—white lettering on dark green fabric is great for grabbing attention. The system of aluminum frames also provides a clean look and allows the fabric to be tightly stretched across the frame.
Adding a Custom Floor Mat Finally, Angela asked Signs A La Carte to create a floor mat with her logo. The mat matched both the interior and exterior signage, as well as the vinyl on the door. Vinyl is useful for any type of wrap, sometimes it is difficult to wrap objects.Sometimes wrapping an object is more cost effective than painting it, especially when you’re working with a complicated design. It’s easier to correct a shape before printing than it is to repaint a wall. Vinyl wrapping provides endless creative and branding opportunities. But it’s sometimes hard to wrap certain items because of the complexity of the elements. Here are three important things Signs A La Carte considers for each vinyl project. The Shape Even though vinyl can handle deformity, sometimes when there’s too much distortion, the adhesive behind the vinyl cracks. Curved shapes and spheres are almost impossible to wrap. The Signs A La Carte team has to use cast vinyl for these shapes. Wrapping a bike? Consider painting it instead. With all of the curves on the bike’s frame, a vinyl wrap will take significantly longer to complete. The Surface Our customers frequently ask if we can refurbish their signs. Our response: “We’ll see what we can do!” Vinyl must stick perfectly on the surface of the sign to look good and withstand the elements. We ask our customers to bring us their sign or send us a photo so we know exactly what we’re working with. When Signs A La Carte does mural wraps, we bring our adhesion test kit to test the wall and determine which vinyl to use. Vinyl doesn’t work well on wood if the surface is rough and untreated. This also applies to rusted metal. The Temperature Vinyl is fabricated to be durable and endure deformation. Temperature can negatively impact adhesion to a surface and shorten the lifespan of the vinyl. Rapidly changing temperatures or temperatures that are extremely hot or cold are not good for vinyl—the finish will peel and crack. We don’t recommend installing outdoor wraps in below-freezing temperatures because the vinyl adhesive won’t stick. We Can Wrap Anything with Patience No matter what you want to wrap, Signs A La Carte can do it. However, preparing the area and applying the vinyl might take longer than usual. Examples of some of the less-common objects we’ve wrapped include:
Vinyl wraps provide an economical way to decorate surfaces, and they’re easily removable. From walls and posters to storefront signs, Signs A La Carte can wrap anything with a smooth surface. We can also protect your vehicle against extreme elements and road debris while making your brand visible to potential customers.

These vehicles stand out from the other cars on the road because they have a nice look and design. Signs A La Carte handles fleet wrap. We work with customers to help them promote their brands on the go. Our customers want to grab attention with unique designs that represent their brands, including their logo, company name, website, phone number, and more. Here are a few reasons you should visit Signs A La Carte if you’re thinking about professionally wrapping your vehicles. We Come to You Signs A La Carte will come to your business to see your vehicles. We bring color samples to match your desired colors as closely as possible. You Always Have the Final Opinion After you decide on a color and design, we’ll always send you proofs to review before we print and apply your graphic on the vehicle. Quality is Our Focus We use high-quality products, 3M or Avery vinyls and laminates. These products are custom designed for the exterior of your business trucks, delivery vans, or service cars. You won’t have to worry about fuzzy, messy, or unprofessional logos slapped on the side of your vehicle or conflicting color schemes or fonts that don’t align with your brand. Lamination (treating the vinyl with a laminate layer) is useful because it prevents the colors from fading and protects from UV, dirt, and debris. We’re Here as Your Fleet Grows If you have more than one vehicle to wrap and we already have your graphics, we can easily reprint everything multiple times. Your vehicles will all look the same, and you’ll be recognized on the road. When you return, we’ll be ready to take care of your entire fleet. The Fence Authority Example The most common types of commercial fleet wraps are lettering and logo cut letters. We use a Graphtec machine that cuts exact shapes. Here’s other examples of the vehicle fleet wraps Signs A La Carte did for: Heiler Painting : Hazley Builders: As we spend more time commuting—an average of 26 minutes one way—businesses have a lot to gain from focusing their advertising efforts on the road. Printing costs are low, and considering the 3,000 to 7,000 times your wrap will be seen per day depending on the location of your vehicle, it’s worth the investment.
