Signs A La Carte explains and answers commonly asked questions about Signs: price, wrap, type of signs...
As a full-service, custom sign company located in West Chester-PA-, Signs A La Carte answers many questions about window graphics, vehicle wraps, outdoor and indoor signs, and other types of signs. We’ve included a few of our most commonly asked questions below to give you a look into our process and what makes us different from other sign companies.
Why do you ask so many questions about my sign before we talk about price?
It isn’t easy to provide a price right away because all of our signs are custom. The price of an interior or exterior sign varies depending on several criteria:
Each of these parameters must be considered so we can provide an accurate quote.
How much do you really need to know about my vehicle before you wrap it?
Before processing your vehicle wrap, Signs A La Carte asks important questions about the type of vehicle you want to wrap (car, truck, trailer, plane, etc.). We can give you a quick estimate because we have thousands of templates with standard characteristics. However, we need to know the make, model, year, color, options, add-on equipment, and style of your vehicle first.
To optimize your message and increase brand awareness, Signs A La Carte discusses your goals to deliver the best solution that promotes your brand and generates business. We ask about your logo, website, tagline, offerings, phone number, photos, and more.
With this information, our designers will guide you through the design process, keeping your budget and your vehicle’s space limitations in mind. We can discuss various options including the vinyl color and finishes and the types of wrap that fit your budget.
These are a few types of wrap we offer:
Why is Signs A La Carte different from other companies?
Most of the time, we apply printed vinyl on a sign or vehicle. This is why our vinyl comes in the form of a quality adhesive that’s resistant to external elements like sun, rain, and wind. You have many color and finish options: matte, semi-gloss, gloss, brushed steel, carbon fiber, matte metallic, chrome, and even leather-like finishes.
Finally, our solvent-free printing process combines primary colors for a better-quality image. It allows us to reproduce images in solid color, high-resolution photographs, printing on various types of vinyl (transparent, block out) that we can apply on walls, windows, vehicles, acrylic, and PVC. Our prints come with a layer of film coating adapted to the material, if necessary, to guarantee incredible durability.

Signs A La Carte replaces pylon sign faces in the West Chester Area.
Recently, Signs A La Carte has replaced 14 sign faces on pylons. You might be wondering: Why would you need to replace your pylon sign face?
These are three of the most common reasons we encounter:
All faces Signs A La Carte manufactures can be painted, digitally printed vinyl graphics, or flatbed printed . We can then insert them into your current lighted sign cabinet, so you don’t have to spend money purchasing a completely new business sign. Over the years, vinyl overlays, acrylic, and PVC have become better materials that are readily available.
Replacement of a Faded or Discolored Face
Sometimes the paint on your sign frame needs a refresh to restore its vibrancy. Over time, faces can become damaged by the weather. In Pennsylvania, our summers are hot and humid, and our winters are bitterly cold. Extreme weather causes the faces to crack, peel, and fade, and a white sign face can begin to look yellow.
Auto Haus worked with Signs A La Carte to renew their business appearance and give their sign an up-to-date look. Signs A La Carte removed the old faces of the pole sign and replaced them with two shiny new faces.
The new sign is more readable, with clearly outlined letters and numbers. Colors, type, and font gave Auto Haus a more professional look.
Brandywine Med Spa asked Signs A La Carte to refurbish a sign that belonged to an old restaurant. We kept the octagonal shape of the sign, applying the doctor’s name, phone number, and business name.
With this type of pylon, if the sign isn’t illuminated, there’s likely a problem with the electricity or weather has damaged the bulbs. This is what happened with this customer. When our installer replaced the faces, he changed the bulbs, and now the illuminated sign works perfectly.
New Business Name
Signs A La Carte also replaced 10 faces for the same restaurant branch. The proprietor bought a group of closed restaurants and opened them again at his new branch: Olive Tree. In this case, the pole was in good shape, and Signs A La Carte was simply able to install new faces by changing the large decal vinyl printing on the pylon.
