Signs A La Carte worked with A. Duie Pyle, the Northeast's premier transportation and logistics provider in order to renovate all their inside signs at the headquarter located in West Chester.You know those big white and orange trucks you see on the road? The company is called A. Duie Pyle. They’re the Northeast’s premier transportation and logistics provider. Project Highlights The company’s business headquarters in West Chester asked Signs A La Carte to renovate their indoor signage. We printed and manufactured their graphic designs, and we installed new signs inside the building, including in the reception hall and hallway.
To illustrate A. Duie Pyle’s success, the company decided to tell a story on a wall. Signs A La Carte applied the company’s historic timeline in the hallway. The wall is covered by printed vinyl with graphics that represent important company dates and photos, from the start of the company to present-day operations. This hallway mural is both an art piece and a historic archive.  Adding a Branded Element of Privacy The company had a large conference room that needed privacy film and Signs A La Carte used etched vinyl. On translucent vinyl, the company logo was trimmed to brand the space while also giving meeting attendees privacy when discussing projects. Even though the glass window was covered by vinyl, the room is still illuminated, and light can pass through the glass and vinyl. In the meeting room, you’ll find a sign that represents the company’s five integrated supply chain solutions in orange and black, their official colors. The sign is made with printing vinyl applied on translucent acrylic and attached by standoffs on an aluminum brushed surface. The Finished Product Once the project was completed, A. Duie Pyle’s team and their customers had a better understanding of the company’s history and how it evolved from the early 20s to today. Since installing the signs, we’ve heard great things—the company loved the timeline and illuminated LED frame. It’s certainly a treatment you don’t see everywhere! Thank you to A. Signs A La Carte designed a Custom Sign for Hope Brain and Body Recovery Center. We printed, manufactured and installed a lobby sign and window graphics.When Dr. Joseph Schneider opened his new recovery center and offices in Chadds Ford, Hope: Brain and Body Recovery Center, he needed a new lobby sign and window graphics. Dr. Joe and his team work with patients recovering from cognitive losses, emotional imbalances, and loss of physical function from concussions, traumatic brain injuries, dementia, autism, strokes, and other neurological conditions. They provide rehabilitation and therapeutic care to stimulate and strengthen the brain. Signs A La Carte came to Hope Brain and Body Recovery Center’s new office to understand their signage needs. Dr. Joe knew exactly what he wanted in a sign:
Unfortunately, the old sign was still in place, and Signs A La Carte had two options—cover it or ask the landlord to remove the sign and repaint the wall. Signs A La Carte decided to cover the old sign with the new lobby sign attached with standoffs. Eventually, the landlord removed the old sign and repainted the wall. Dr. Joe loves having the lobby sign mounted on the wall with standoffs. We decided to apply grey vinyl on the back of an acrylic face, and on the front, the picture and white cut lettering. The great thing about this process is that the sign appears to be a 3D image. 
Dr. Joe was ecstatic when he saw the lobby sign and doors. He even prefers the employee-only door. As a sign owner, it’s a great feeling when you see your customer happy—it makes your day! We loved meeting Dr. Joe and his team and hearing about all the great work they do for their patients, both adults and children. Creating Elegant Building Signs for Drexelbrook Catering by Signs A La Carte- West Chester, PA-3/4/2019 Signs A La Carte created more than 60 elegant building signs for Drexelbrook Catering using mostly brushed aluminum and black acrylic materials.Drexelbrook Special Event Center hosts a variety of events, from boardrooms to ballrooms, corporate conferences to weddings, and everything in between. They assist clients with their catering, design, and planning needs so their event guests can enjoy themselves and have a great time. The Challenge CEO Domenick Savino, CPCE decided to renovate all signs inside the building to make them more elegant and modern. Signs A La Carte was invited to tour the building and see the signs that needed to be changed and updated. Existing signs were black or gold, and they felt outdated. After sending several proofs back and forth with the CEO, we designed, manufactured, and installed more than 60 signs in the event center. The Solution Drexelbrook wanted to use their existing logo and add it to all signs. Signs A La Carte created the sign template to be used throughout the facility from scratch using the teal and white logo. Most of the directory signs were 3D with reverse brushed aluminum material and a black acrylic face. On top of the frame, we added the cut-out logo made from a white circle acrylic with UV printed graphic. Typically, with this type of mock up, we provide ADA signs, directional and directory signs, and name plaques for boardrooms. Directional and directory signs with one name have black applique letters on the first surface. Directional signs with many directions have black text vinyl on the first surface. Frames are mounted to the wall with standoffs, which are made from brushed aluminum to match the identification signs.
When we toured the building to find out exactly where the signs would be installed, we suggested a vinyl application for the elevator doors. We sent the CEO a proof of what this would look like, and he agreed with our recommendation. After seeing the beautiful elevator doors, the owner decided the fire extinguishers also needed a new look. Throughout the building, gold covers were transformed into a beautiful palette of teal, black, gray, and white.
All embossed aluminum wall sculptures give the building an elegant style. Signs A La Carte enjoyed working with Drexelbrook and appreciated their trust as we updated the building signs.
