A special shoutout to those who were unrecognized during these unfortunate times- West Chester, PA-6/22/2020 With business, companies, and even schools closing due to COVID-19 many accomplishments went unrecognized. Signs A La Carte wanted to do our part with helping the community.Since high school and college seniors were not able to get the proper celebration they deserve, many parents and faculty have reached out to see what small gesture they could do to help make light of the current situation. At Signs A La Carte, we make custom signs, to fit the personal desire of the customer. Yard signs seemed like the perfect fit for the students of the community to be able to represent their school and themselves for this celebration. We want to thank the mom’s who went out of their way to order from Signs A La Carte to make their loved one feel special. The orders first began when a customer of ours mentioned the sign she got from us on facebook. Her friends told their friends and BOOM we had hundreds of yard sign orders coming in. We are very grateful for the business during this current pandemic and even more thrilled that students are getting a little taste of what they deserve. Following the rules of the government about the shutdown of the state, the essential living business could still operate, but in some cases, they need to have posters about the new employee rules. We printed the posters for our customers. They needed a new employee; we created yard signs for them to advertise. Hill’s Quality Seafood is a chain of 4 stores, 3 are in Delaware County and 1 in Chester County, their seafood is so fresh and delicious, especially their crab cakes. Do not hesitate to go and try. Exterior signages for Kids' Clubhouse of the Mainline by Signs A La Carte- West Chester, PA-7/29/2019 Signs A La Carte installed an Awning and Window Graphics for Kids' Clubhouse of the Mainline.When Angela Bruno moved to Pennsylvania from California, she discovered that a drop-off daycare didn’t exist in the area. She set out to start her own daycare, and once she found a facility, she contacted Signs A La Carte to create her signage. But first she needed to get her sign installation approved with the building landlord and the township—when you open a business, it’s important to follow the rules in the area. Angela wanted to have window graphics and a lighted awning installed over the door. This would allow parents to stay sheltered from the elements when their children leave the daycare. The light is also important, especially during the winter months when it gets dark early, so parents and their children can feel safe. Signs A La Carte helped Angela get approvals from the township. To do this, we needed to have everything ready to submit for the project, including measurements, colors, and the exact location of the signage. After the township issued their approval and Angela signed off on the details of her custom signs, we started production. The biggest component was the awning. Creating an Awning On the awning fabric, we applied white-cut lettering that resists harsh weather. Angela wanted the awning to protect parents from the rain while they’re waiting to pick up their kids. Since Angela couldn’t put her business name on the building, she decided to place it on the awning instead. This helped her visually market her daycare—white lettering on dark green fabric is great for grabbing attention. The system of aluminum frames also provides a clean look and allows the fabric to be tightly stretched across the frame.

We printed, manufactured and installed a lobby sign and window graphics.When Dr. Joseph Schneider opened his new recovery center and offices in Chadds Ford, Hope: Brain and Body Recovery Center, he needed a new lobby sign and window graphics. Dr. Joe and his team work with patients recovering from cognitive losses, emotional imbalances, and loss of physical function from concussions, traumatic brain injuries, dementia, autism, strokes, and other neurological conditions. They provide rehabilitation and therapeutic care to stimulate and strengthen the brain. Signs A La Carte came to Hope Brain and Body Recovery Center’s new office to understand their signage needs. Dr. Joe knew exactly what he wanted in a sign:
Unfortunately, the old sign was still in place, and Signs A La Carte had two options—cover it or ask the landlord to remove the sign and repaint the wall. Signs A La Carte decided to cover the old sign with the new lobby sign attached with standoffs. Eventually, the landlord removed the old sign and repainted the wall. Dr. Joe loves having the lobby sign mounted on the wall with standoffs. We decided to apply grey vinyl on the back of an acrylic face, and on the front, the picture and white cut lettering. The great thing about this process is that the sign appears to be a 3D image. 
Dr. Joe was ecstatic when he saw the lobby sign and doors. He even prefers the employee-only door. As a sign owner, it’s a great feeling when you see your customer happy—it makes your day! We loved meeting Dr. Joe and his team and hearing about all the great work they do for their patients, both adults and children.
