But which is right for you? Below you’ll see examples of signs that are either attached to the wall or perpendicular at the front facade like a rider sign.  The most exciting question you have to ask yourself is: Do you want your sign illuminated? The benefit of an illuminated sign is that at night, customers will still be able to notice you in the dark and it can help them to remember your location during the day. We work with an electrician to install your illuminated sign -- and you can choose whether you want to use LED or neon lights.  Another option for an illuminated sign is having us create an acrylic sign in a case. Inside that case we would add lights and the entire sign would glow in the dark like this company, Unique Hearing Aid Solutions, chose.  Maybe you prefer illuminated letters! In this case, you need channel letters, which are generally made of acrylic faces that allow light to be projected through the letters in a multitude of colors. We do it all!  Not looking for an illuminated storefront sign? No problem. We also make PVC, wood, aluminum or stainless-steel panels. To embellished them, we use different methods like printing, engraving, laser cutting, and painting. We also use colorful vinyl or can add material like raised metal, acrylic, backlit or plastic colorful letters. Signs A La Carte can customize your durable exterior signage with your unique specifications. We can even help with a colorful underlay or installing a spotlight underneath to keep your sign noticeable in the dark.  We also install letters directly on your storefront like Gus & Ruby Letterpress. The material we use are very durable and easy to install. The letters are cut and shaped into any font style you choose! Here in West Chester, the most affordable storefront used is a called a “sign rider”. A sign rider is usually a smaller sign that accompanies a larger sign or graphic (similar to what you see in a real estate frames). Sign riders are usually placed either below or above (or both) the larger graphic in the frame. Additionally they are used on posts and even hang from iron or wooden hangers. The sign is attached perpendicular to your business. We attach your vinyl to wood or an aluminite sheet, with the information you need Did you know that your location is on a specific zoning map? That means that you’re not exactly able to do whatever you want. You have to follow the directives from your city or township. Illuminated signs require a permit, not just the preexisting sign rider. You can simply replace sign riders with new information if you keep it the same size. But to make it bigger or change any other specifications to your outdoor signage, you need to check with your city or town -- and definitely your landlord.

Signs A La Carte was Center Stage at Citadel Country Spirit USA Music Festival. We printed more than 100 signs (banners, posters and pictures for A-frames).Signs A La Carte was proud to be the official local sign vendor for Citadel Country Spirit USA music festival, a three-day country music festival in the Brandywine Valley this past August 24-26, 2018. The festival took place at The Lugwig’s Corner Horse Show Grounds in Chester County, Pennsylvania. The festival featured more than 20 country music artists as well as food, beverages, and wide variety of activities. It was packed with excited music lovers from all over! The festival organizers asked us to do over one hundred signs including banners, posters and pictures for A-frames. It was an exciting project to work on because we had to manage the work without getting all of the details right away. Our biggest fear was not having the raw material, if there was a last-minute request but like always, we hit this one out of the park!
During the three days of the event, you could find your way around by following our A-Frame directional sign holders & signs. We printed the signs on vinyl and then applied them to coroplast that slides into the A-Frames. A total of 24 portable signs were installed at shuttle locations, parking, and different areas of the festival grounds.
At the entrance, you could see more and more banners of different sizes. Some printed vinyl or mesh material with grommets for the fences and ticket booths. We even did the stage topper, as you can see, no job is too small for Signs A La Carte. This is the biggest banner we’ve ever done!
In front of the big stage was the sponsor hospitality area. Look! Our banners are a great backdrop for the action…. Country music legend, Jake Owen crossed the crowd to go to the second story. He was being filmed walking across and everyone was screaming. Some people think they were screaming for the country music star, but we like to think they were screaming at the beauty of our signs!!! Working for a big project like this one is extremely rewarding and exciting. Many clients with big events like this have last minute add-ons. We even received some designs two days before the show and were able to deliver on time. We always keep a little extra in stock for last-minute surprises! The morning of the delivery, we had to do 8 ticket signs, we did and were ready to deliver on time!!!!

The high quality of the sidewalk sign allows the possibility of being reusable. The portable stand sign holds one sheet of Coroplast (size:2’’ by 3’) on each side. Your message will be printed on vinyl and applied to the Coroplast that slides in and out in the sidewalk curb sign, perfectly. Two different technics could be used: cut monochrome vinyl or printed vinyl. If the sign needs to handle harsh and wet weather for a long period of time, a laminate could be applied on the printed vinyl. Having the possibility to change the coroplast on demand allows you to have different messages printed that you can placed on the frame when you decide. You may even have to one message on the coroplast that you can flip whenever you want. One day, we got a message coming from our Signs A La Carte's Facebook page. A mom asked us if it was possible to wrap her son’s helmet. The little guy needs to wear it 23 hours a day. It’s a treatment to help correct baby’ skull shape when doctors detect cranial orthosis with infants. Helmets must be worn when the skull is actively growing. We decided to help her even if it was our first time to wrap a helmet. We really like to have new challenges. She gave us some ideas: she would like a blue color gradient, stars and a paraph saying: MaDe OF StaRduSt aNd WiShES AnD MaGiCal thinGS. Our designer did something amazing. We thought it could be installed easily but in reality, it was not the same story…. We are manufacturing flat signs or 3D signs with superimposed flat layers. We have to adapt the vinyl to the round shape. Hopefully, we used a very good vinyl. If this one is damaged, it will always come back to its neat and clean texture and it will perfectly fit to any shape it will cover.  The mom decided to have a French touch on it, we are very warmed by her thought. She asked us to write “Le petit prince” on the front of the helmet. Signs A La Carte was proud to help this wonderful mom. It meant a lot for her and her family. Here is her message: ''Thank you again so much for all of the time and love you put into this!'' She was right, we spent time and love, and it made our day as well!!!! We wish her little cute guy a quick recovery. The End.  |
