​Elegant Dimensional Letters for Oh So Molly Boutique in Wilmington, DE- by Signs A La Carte, PA-

At Signs A La Carte, we love helping new businesses make a memorable first impression with standout signage. Recently, we had the pleasure of working with a brand-new boutique in Wilmington, Delaware—**Oh So Molly**—to create beautiful white acrylic dimensional letters for their storefront.

We were first contacted by the boutique’s owner, Molly, who had a clear vision for her sign: clean, white letters that would pop against her storefront wall. During our initial consultation, Molly expressed interest in letters ranging between 8” to 12” tall and about 1” thick. To help her visualize the final result, we created mock-ups showcasing different size and thickness combinations.

After reviewing the options, Molly chose 8” tall letters with a ½” thickness, mounted using studs for a raised, dimensional effect. This setup not only gave her sign a sophisticated look but also ensured it would stand out—literally and visually—from the wall behind it.

Solid, Secure Mounting with Studs
 
Dimensional letters offer a bold and upscale appearance, but the installation is just as important as the design itself. We used a stud mounting technique, which allows each letter to be securely attached to the wall while keeping everything level and perfectly spaced. This method ensures the sign will remain straight, stable, and aligned for years to come.
 
To ensure precision during installation, we also provided a custom template. This tool plays two essential roles:
 
- It helps center the sign on the wall and position it at the correct height.
- It guides accurate drilling for each letter, so no holes end up in the wrong spot.

What is the story behind Oh So Molly?
 
 "Owning my own boutique has always been a dream of mine. From a young age, I envisioned creating a space where women could find stylish, carefully curated clothing, accessories, and gifts that make them feel confident and beautiful. After graduating from the University of Alabama in August 2024 with a degree in fashion merchandising, I jumped right into making that dream a reality. On February 1, 2025, I officially opened Oh So Molly in Wilmington, DE!"

What is the story behind Oh So Molly?
 
 "Owning my own boutique has always been a dream of mine. Did you work for someone else before opening your business?
 
“Throughout college, I gained valuable experience working summer jobs in retail. I also had the incredible opportunity to intern at Kleinfeld Bridal in NYC. While I loved the experience, I knew I wanted to return to Delaware and bring my own vision to life."

 
Who is your boutique for?
 
“Oh So Molly is a women’s clothing store, but I also carry a selection of gifts and accessories. You’ll find greeting cards, jewelry, and more! At 23, I love the styles I bring in for myself, but I also have plenty of options for stylish moms. Even my grandmother found a dress she loves, so there’s something for every generation!"
