We wanted to make their new welcome sign both informative and visually attractive, reflecting the professionalism and energy of their brand.
 
With future relocations in mind, Thompson First, opted for a lobby sign panel rather than permanently mounted dimensional letters. This smart decision offers two big advantages. The first being, easy relocation. The panel can be removed and reinstalled with minimal effort wherever it’s placed.

From Concept to Installation
 
Our process began by creating and designing proofs. First, we converted the client’s logo files into high-resolution vector artwork, which is essential for accurate production. Once the proofs were approved, fabrication began.

The sign was crafted from clear acrylic, measuring 48" x 20", with flame-polished edges for a clean, professional finish. We drilled four mounting holes into the panel and prepared the hardware for easy installation.

 
A laminated printed vinyl graphic was applied directly to the surface of the acrylic for added detail and color accuracy. Then, we added 3/8" thick acrylic dimensional letters and adhered them to the backer using high-bond double-sided tape for long-term durability.

The color scheme was customized to match the Thompson First Group brand: 
- The word “FIRST” was painted red.
- The words “Thompson” and “Group” were finished in a white opaque.

The completed sign was installed using four aluminum standoffs, sized ¾" x ¾", each with brushed aluminum 1″ radius caps  and 1.5” barrels for a sleek, modern look. The result is a durable, attractive sign that’s as easy to relocate as it is to admire.
