Signs A La Carte is able to do it allFrom outdoor building signs to a restroom sign, Signs A La Carte is able to do it all. We are a one stop shop when it comes to all your signage needs. Having an appealing image is something every business strives for; we are able to custom make or customize the signs you want in order to create the space you want. Where does your new business begin?Outside! To engage and bring in customers you need an outdoor sign or signs to attract them. An outdoor sign is a big purchase for any company or business. It is a highly visible statement you want by passers to see. There are many ways to make your unique sign stand out. Dimensional Signs- adds an element of depth to a flat sign's height and width. The shape, shadows and shading of 3D letters, logos and graphics catch the eye like no two-dimensional flat sign can. Light LED Signs- are signs comprised of light emitting diodes (LED's) that shine bright and allow you to draw customers into your place of business. These bright lights allow your messages to be seen at night and during the day with ease. Monument sign- a low-profile freestanding sign, supported by a structural base or other solid structural features other than support poles and may contain signage on more than one side. Flag Signs- Because all the signs described above require a permit from the township, you can indicate your presence by the flags….. A flag is a great way to attract by passes outside of your business. Tall standing signs are visible from further away enabling a larger audience. Location is a key component when starting your business. You want as many people as possible to be able to see your business. Signs are the main way you will attract customers. Especially if you are near a busy road or highway, tall standing signs will stand out and make by passers notice you. Once you have secured the customers inside the next step is indoor signs! You may want the inside of your business to match the outside. Signs A La Carte is able to give you exactly what you need to create a space you love. Choosing the type of indoor sign, you want is the next step into customizing your new space. No need to be bland when you could have an exciting space to be in. Wall Graphics- can add a pop on your plain wall. Using a mission statement or a positive quote can create a welcoming space. Window Graphics- inside a building, you may find different business, having your name and open hours on the entrance door can be a good idea. Dimensional letters/ signs- are 3D letters made that are mounted individually to the wall. They can either be raised on clear spacers or mounted flush with the wall. Mounted signs on standoff- are designed to be mounted with specialized hardware, which consists of a barrel, cap, and wall screw. Branding your businessWhat else do you need to start at your new location? Whatever you want!

Signs A La Carte applied Reflective vinyl on vehicle and renew some signs for State Farm.Signs A La Carte recently worked on a fun project for Chris Madonna, a State Farm agent in West Chester, PA. After purchasing a Smart car, Chris wanted to get the car wrapped for his business. He knew a vinyl vehicle wrap is a cost-effective tool for generating brand awareness, sales, and business growth. We proposed the idea of using reflective vinyl instead of regular vinyl. Though the price per square foot for 3M™ Scotchlite™ Removable Reflective Graphic Films was higher, the more vibrant, 24/7 exposure with reflective vinyl was a critical advantage. Reflective film provides better slideability, air release, and removability for easier, faster, bubble-free installations and removal. With heat removal, reflective vinyl leaves little or no adhesive residue. Signs A La Carte gave Chris a mock-up of what his car would look like with a wrap, and he loved how it brought the graphic to life. To protect the vinyl, we applied a clear laminate to shield it from fading, scratches, and road debris. Chris Madonna really loves the new design of his car. He is so happy that his business name is visible day and night. When Chris dropped off his car, he discovered we can do anything with vinyl, like building signs, directory signs, any kinf of signs to promote your brand indoor and outdoor. In addition to the vehicle wrap, Chris also needed to update his business hours and change the post panel in front of his office. We removed the old signs and replaced them with new signs. As you can see here, we replaced the vinyl on the business hours sign and updated it with Chris’s new hours. To manufacture the post sign, we cut a medium density overlay (MDO) panel. This is a type of material produced with a high-quality, thermosetting resin-impregnated fiber surface bonded to one or both sides under heat and pressure. The sign’s shape has a half-oval at the top, which can hold one-third of the logo. Signs A La Carte applied a red and white printed vinyl cover with a laminate and then installed it on the post. Testimonial from Chris Madonna: Thanks guys, as always great work, and done quickly. Call them when you need a new or better look. Not only can vinyl be used on cars, but it can also be used for signs and building graphics to give brands and promotions greater visibility. The material can easily be printed on a large, eco-friendly printer. Unlike paint, which requires greater patience to apply because of the level of detail, vinyl lasts longer and is easier to apply.

Contact Signs A La Carte! We can help you create any type of indoor or outdoor signage to meet your needs. Cedar wood, Plywood, Aluminum, HDU, MDO are used to fabricate Post and Panel Signs.
Styles of Post and Panel Signs Post and panel signs are available in a variety of styles and configurations, as well as a variety of price points depending on your budget. They can be personalized with decorative caps and poles and custom-shaped panels. While the most common material used for the poles in our area is wood, you can also have poles made from PVC or aluminum. If the customer doesn’t want paint on the post, we use cedar wood. It’s a natural moth repellent that’s also weather resistant. If the customer wants a post with a specific color, we’ll prime, sand, and paint the plywood. Between the pole, we install a face that’s usually made with three millimeter or six millimeter MAX-metal. This substrate is durable and works well in all types of weather. However, sometimes customers require higher-end materials for more permanent signs. In this case, we work on sandblasted wood that is more expensive, but will last for decades. Signs A La Carte can propose other substrates like high density urethane (HDU), plywood, and medium density overlay (MDO). Types of Sign Materials and Substrates HBU is insect- and rot-resistant. It’s also waterproof and unaffected by changing temperatures. Unlike cedar, HDU is readily available, stable, carves easily, and paints beautifully. It also looks just like wood when painted, only much lighter. Plywood is made with thin layers of wood, interspersed with layers of special paper. Since it’s not weather resistant, plywood will eventually rot after years of exposure. MDO is a cheaper solution. However, its lifespan is usually less than five years, and it deteriorates more quickly than other materials. Other Custom Solutions If you’re looking for a simple, yet decorative solution, or something a little fancier, we can carve the wood for long-term use. For temporary use, the most economic method is printing the graphics on high-performance vinyl and directly applying them on both sides of the substrate’s surface for maximum visibility. We can also create an appealing look by adding dimensional acrylic letters or logos to post and panel signs. Sometimes when a customer wants to change their sign, we inspect it and find that the poles aren’t damaged—they just need a good coat of paint. Even when poles are made with high-quality material, factors like weather and pollution can still deteriorate the sign. A coat of paint can work wonders. We Have Your Sign Needs Covered

Reach out to Signs A La Carte today! Long-lasting and precise construction, directional and directory signs that meet the needs of any businessWhen a site is under construction, signage is important. It shows which company is working on the site or which business is under construction. When the building is complete, signs that direct people through the building are also imperative. And don’t forget about the builder’s vehicles—builders with their name and contact info on the side of their vehicles are more likely to get inquiries from people with similar projects. Construction sites are an ideal setting for making your brand visible to the public. Using high-quality materials and color matching, Signs A La Carte can customize your sign project, brining your creative vision to life and getting your brand noticed. We’ve already completed several projects for commercial builders and property managers. Take a look at a few of our examples below. Since we print all graphics on our digital printer, we provide the same color and high-resolution graphics every time you need a new vehicle decal. Post Signs for Spire Signs A La Carte manufactured two types of post signs for Spire. One is made with 6” x 6” x 10’ wood posts, and the hanging sign has a panel made of 96” by 16” MDO. The other is made with 4” by 4” x 5’ wood posts. Between the posts, the panel will be made of MDO. On all signs, we’ll flush their logo customized with a specific red acrylic. Spire will install the posts on their construction sites so if someone is interested in their project, they’ll know Spire is doing the work. Directional, Directory Signs, and ADA Signs for Drexelbrook Catering Signs A La Carte designed and manufactured 3D signs with different layers of material for the interior building at Drexelbrook Catering. The base is a brushed aluminum material with a black acrylic face. On top of the frame, we added the cut-out logo in a whiite acrylic circle with UV printed graphics. We adhered a small brushed aluminum plate with black textured vinyl. Frames are mounted to the wall with standoffs made from brushed aluminum to match the identification signs. The building’s luxurious appearance makes visitors want to return to the space. Like What You See?

Image is everything in business, a reflective adhesive vinyl on the car is a very good choice. At Signs A La Carte, our customers usually ask for a specific wrap on their vehicle to represent their company. We offer three different types of wraps: full wraps, half wraps, and decals and lettering. Full Vinyl Wraps A full wrap covers the entire vehicle, even the roof. The design typically represents large format graphics that sometimes include pictures. The way it’s assembled gives your vehicle a clean, professional look. Half Vinyl Wraps Half wraps are more economical choices for fleets since they use less material than full wraps. Big and bold graphics are generally only on the sides or back of a vehicle—two areas that will positively impact your business. Custom Decals and Lettering Custom decals and lettering are great options for companies that only want to include basic information on their vehicles, such as their name and/or logo. A website or phone number can also be added. By choosing the right font, you’ll make it easy for your potential customers to see your business’s information. Printing on Reflective Vinyl We typically print on a high-quality product from 3M or Avery, but recently, we did a wrap with a new product from 3M: a reflective vinyl that glows in the dark when charged by light and heat. The reflective adhesive vinyl is four millimeters thick and comes with clear permanent adhesive backing. Because it’s protected by a gloss laminate, it can be used indoors or outdoors, is waterproof and UV safe, and will last for years. We used the reflective adhesive to completely wrap a van for Adam’s Auto Parts. Adam came to Signs A La Carte to work on his business graphics with our designer. The design looked beautiful on the computer and even more amazing in person. Benefits of Reflective Vinyl Once the job was complete, we realized that reflective vinyl provides endless choices for wrapping various surfaces. Below we’ve included some of the types of reflective vinyl and the benefits of each.
Wrapping various surfaces with reflective adhesive vinyl provides a lightweight, economical alternative to paint for your fleet or architectural applications, indoors and out. Since reflective vinyl is waterproof, you can even wrap your boat.

Explanation of The Process of Creating a Custom Monument Sign by Signs A La Carte- West Chester -PA-Have you seen the beautiful shopping center monument sign in Limerick, PA? Signs A La Carte was the proud manufacturer and installer. We handled every step in the process to draw attention to the new shopping center coming soon. From pieces of wood and electrical wire, we designed and mounted the illuminated monument. Ever wonder how a monument sign is made? Below we’ve included the steps in the sign-making process, including design, fabrication and assembly, and installation.
Your monument sign will include both the actual signage and the masonry that helps support the sign’s base. You have options for each component. Business owners will often match their sign to the architecture of their building. Stone, aluminum, wood, acrylic, and other metals are the materials we most frequently use. Before you get too far in the design process, it’s a good idea to check with your municipality to find out what your city code allows. If you are creating your first monument sign, you’ll be required to secure a permit for your sign. Fabrication and Assembly At Signs A La Carte, we have the in-house capabilities to execute and supervise each step in the fabrication and assembly process. This helps ensure that the sign we install at your business matches the specifications we agreed upon during the design phase. Fabrication begins once you’ve approved the design and are ready to move forward. Mounting the Sign Assuming all permits have been secured, it’s time to install your sign! Monument signs should be placed perpendicularly to the street. To help ensure your sign is easy to read, make sure you take shadows and sunlight into consideration when placing your sign. Signs A La Carte will guide you through the process. We have all of the tools and equipment needed to securely install your sign. After the footer or foundation of the monument sign are prepared to receive the sign, we secure the metal frame of the sign to the footer. The last step is to slide the acrylic faces with names or phone numbers at their place it should be. And voila! Your sign is installed and ready to attract visitors to your business.
Why Install or Refresh a Monument Sign? Retailers spend a lot of money to be in high-traffic shopping malls. However, old, unattractive monument faces—or worse, no monument sign at all—are even more costly. Signs A La Carte fabricates and installs shopping mall signs to increase traffic and sales. Many smart retailers are improving their signage for the new year! If you are looking for a new signage solution, Signs A La Carte can help you enhance your ideas or start from scratch. Don’t hesitate to contact us with questions about creating your monument sign or any kind of signs you may need. Here is a list (not exhaustive) of the types of vinyl signs we can create. Wall and Window Graphics The printer uses primary colors to reproduce all pictures and designs for your project. The chart below represents the colors we can print. Windows and walls are great surfaces for vinyl application—they are flat, and the space can be used to promote your name, your brand, your tagline, and your beautiful pictures. Vehicle Wraps At Signs A La Carte, we discuss ways to maximize blank space on your vehicle with the message you want to convey. We provide four options for advertising on your vehicle:
Prefer something removable? We create vehicle magnets! However, these magnetic stickers require extra care than vinyl wraps and must be regularly cleaned to prevent rust. Monument and Dimensional Channel Letters Maybe your business is in a business center and you want customers to recognize your business from a distance. You might need dimensional or illuminated letters. If your business center has no monument sign or pylon to indicate which businesses occupy the space, we can install a sign with your design. Signs A La Carte can also update your business name on the face of an existing monument sign or pylon. Building Signs Channel letters can help call attention to your building and business. We can also create other building signs to point to your location, including a post, sign rider, store front sign, and more. Lobby and Interior Signs When customers enter your building, their first impressions are key. Did they see your logo? The name on your desk? A directional sign? These little details are important for nice Lobby Sign and Interior Signs, and the Signs A La Carte team can help improve the visual experience for your customers. We can also create an ADA sign if needed. Trade Show Display Are you promoting your business at an event? You need a trade show display. Signs A La Carte can create a canopy, runner table, banner, roll-up banner, flags, posters, and more. These exhibition booth pieces show who you are, where you are located, and what you have to offer.
